COMPREHENSIVE EYE CHECK UP

we aim at providing the best eye care by expert doctors using the latest technology. Refractive error being a one of the leading cause of visual impairment needs to be taken seriously, specially in children. At our centre we use the latest automated refraction machine as well as do a dilated retinoscopy for the same.

Also a regular screening of the optic nerve, retina as well as intra ocular pressure can help in early detection of several conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, myopic degenerations, age related maculopathy etc. As we all know “a stitch in time saves nine” early detection leads to early treatment and thus limits any disability.

CATARACT SURGERY

Cataract is the most common cause of treatable blindness not just in our country but also worldwide. Cataract surgery has evolved over the years from intracapsular cataract extraction to the current gold standard which is PHACOEMULSIFICATION.

Our centre aims at providing the perks of phacoemulsification (sutureless cataract surgery) at a reasonable price. We also expertise in premium IOLs such as toric IOLs, multifocal IOLs and aspheric IOLs. Management of post traumatic cases using CTR, CIONNI as well as SFIOLs are done at our centre. Small incision cataract surgery is also another area of our expertise.

PEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLGY

Pediatric cataract is a very challenging scenario for an ophthalmologist owing to certain features that are unique to a child’s eye. However, early management is of utmost importance in order to prevent permanent visual impairment which might even lead to psychological impairment in a child. Our centre aims at providing pediatric cataract services again at a very reasonable and affordable rates.

Not just cataract, refractive errors are very common in children too which if uncorrected lead to amblyopia (lazy eye). An early detection and treatment prevents this complication. We also provide amblyopia treatment at our centre. We believe in doing a detailed and comprehensive examination of every child as every child is special and deserves the best.

SQUINT EVALUATION AND TREATMENT

Strabismus is not just a cosmetic blemish for the patient but it also effects his/her self confidence. We have ample experience of squint evaluation and management. All kinds of squint surgeries are done at our centre, at an affordable price.

GLAUCOMA DIAGNOSTICS, LASERS AND SURGERY

Glaucoma is considered a “silent killer” by many and aptly so. The patient usually presents in the advanced stages. Thus, a high index of suspicion is needed for evaluation of glaucoma. A regular optic nerve evaluation as well as intraocular pressure measurement is needed for early detection and management. We, at our centre, provide services such as IOP measurement, gonioscopy, laser iridotomy as well as glaucoma filtration surgeries for proper evaluation and management of this dreadful illness.

CORNEA AND OCULAR SURFACE

Various conditions such as dry eyes, allergic conjunctivitis, meibomitis, corneal ulcers, chemical injuries, ocular surface squamous neoplasia and pterygiums are well managed at our centre.

MEDICAL RETINA

Diabetes a common cause of visual impairment as it effects the retina as well as lens. Early diagnosis is very important in order to prevent irreparable damage to the eye. We diagnose (using fundus camera, OCT, FFA) and manage a wide variety of retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, vascular occlusions, myopic degenerations and age related maculopathy.

OCULOPLASTY

Is watering of your eyes bothering you? You may have a nasolacrimal duct obstruction. We have experienced surgeons performing DCR surgeries. We also do ptosis (droopy eye) surgery, entropion surgery,dermoid cyst excision, enucleation and evisceration with implant at our centre.

UVEA DIAGNOSIS AND MANGEMENT

We diagnose and manage conditions of the uvea such as anterior, intermediate, posterior and panuveitis.
