About Shantanu Netralaya

Shantanu Netralaya was started by Dr. Rajesh Gupta in the year 1990. Being a loving father he named his clinic after his son. He had begun his practice in a small clinic at Luxa, Varanasi in the year 1987. After a few years, main branch of the eye centre was established in Deen Dayal Colony, Near Kabir Nagar Varanasi.

The centre has been serving people of Varanasi since decades at a very affordable price. The centre aims to expand its reaches and super speciality eye care services to provide quality care at reasonable price to greater sections of people of Varanasi and adjacent rural areas.

Dr. Rajesh Gupta is an alumnus of IMS BHU, Varanasi. He completedhis MBBS as well as MS in Ophthalmology in 1987 from the prestigious Benaras Hindu University (BHU). He then started his clinic at Luxa Varanasi in the year 1990. After 6 years he established his nursing home.
